Paint-Your-Own Terracotta Sun Face
Paint-Your-Own Terracotta Sun Face
With bulbs popping up, dirt shifting, and spring just around the corner, it’s officially time to wake your porch from its winter nap.
What better way to celebrate than by painting your very own terracotta sun face—bringing personality (and a little extra sunshine) to your outdoor space?
This workshop takes place at Atelier, 335 Pierpont Avenue, Salt Lake City. Please refer to the main workshop page for more details. This listing reserves one seat in the workshop. Must be 21 years of age or older to sign up.
Each sun is made from terracotta clay and pre-fired (bisque-fired).
All materials will be provided, including your hand-made bisque-fired sun and an assortment of underglazes.
Each sun measures approximately 4.5 inches in diameter.
Each piece will be finished with a second firing.
Finished pieces will be available for pickup at Atelier within 2 weeks. You’ll receive an email when they are ready.
Participants are encouraged to bring inspiration images or designs to trace.
This workshop is part of a series of “Paint Your Own” nights hosted by Olivia.
Seats are limited. By purchasing, you are reserving your spot in the workshop, and all sales are final.
We understand that plans can change—if you’re unable to attend, please email Olivia at innerspacism@gmail.com to reschedule for a future workshop. Sessions are held 1–2 times per month. Please note that rescheduling must occur within one year of your original sign-up date.
Ceramics may occasionally crack during firing, though it is rare. In the event this occurs, you will receive a replacement piece to repaint at a time that works for you or at a future workshop.
